MANIC MONDAY

i stand before you. naked
ready for an answer

basketball. bacon. or me?

you lay there.

stretch your arms.

i inhale.

you open your eyes.

i exhale.

you answer your phone.

i smile........awkwardly.

do i remind you of the question?

and just when i'm ready to pull

out my super short hair,

you turn to me and say.........

you, of course.

my body aches

and

im out of bacon.
